Meet Spyro the Dragon - he's a feisty little flame-spouting dragon on a GIGANTIC, 'go-anywhere', 3D fantasy adventure! Soar through the air and blast enemies in Treasure Rounds Help the purple, fire-breathing dragon Spyro rescue the other dragonsįind treasure and hidden areas while exploring six 3D worlds If the player collected all gems, saved all the dragons, and rescued all the eggs, then an alternate ending is presented. He then goes across the dragon realms saving the trapped dragons, who give hints and tips, until Spyro battles with Gnasty. Their lives were happy and peaceful until Gnasty Gnorc attacks the dragon realms by using a magic spell that traps all the dragons in crystal, except for Spyro, who dodges the spell because of his small size. Many secrets and hidden areas are waiting to be discovered, but don't get too distracted - your friends need you!īefore the game begins, the five Dragon families lived in harmony in their five worlds (these being Artisans, Peace Keepers, Magic Crafters, Beast Makers and Dream Weavers). Music was composed by former Police band member Stewart Copeland and Spyro's speech is performed by Carlos Alazraqui, the voice behind Taco Bell's 1998 Chihuahua commercials. Players can also grab either the Fireball or Super Flame power-up to really make their enemies "feel the burn." As the dragon, you'll be able to perform eight different moves: run, walk, glide, charge, roll, breathe fire, jump and fly. So he started to dabble in magic, hoping to learn something that would make those dragons pay. After all, it's not easy being ugly in a land filled with beautiful jewels and majestic dragons.
